This is almost at the starting point we still had to go up the hill 1/4 mile or so.You have to get in line for the port-o-pots at least a 1/2 hour before the race starts and by that time you have to go again cuz you've consumed so much fluid.

WE DID IT!13.1 miles in 2:33. I'm proud of myself and beat my time from my last race. I ran with Megan most of the time till she would put it "left me in my dust" and I ran the last couple of mile by myself. The last mile I was greeted by my family (slapping of the hands and cheers), I think that was the best part of the race. First by Mom, Ashley, Brooklynn, then by Brad, Lucy, Kelby, Tyler, Katie, Christian, and Hayden. Megan and my dad even came back a little bit to run across the finish line with me. I had a fun time, the race was good, wonderful weather and a great family trip. Next year Ashley and Brooklynn want to run the 5 mile race. So it looks like we've conned some more family into doing this.

How cute are my sister's and dad??!?! Wish I could have joined you.. woudl have been fun. Congrats on completing it! can't wait to see what happens next year!
