Flash Flood

Last night "the rains came down and the floods came up"... really. It rained so hard for about 30 min. and then it was over. We had a beautiful rainbow and the girls had a great time playing in the water. The boys had fun driving the truck.

I Love Poppies!

   

My poppies started "popping" last week. I have the gigantic red ones in our front window so I can see them every time I look outside. The orange one is a smaller variety on the side of the house. Poppies, tulips and daisies are my all time favorite flowers.

Race for the Cure

I had the chance to run in the Race for the Cure this year. It was in celebration of my friend Katie Murray who has recently fought breast cancer. I was honored to be apart of her team.

Ashley Ann

As I was looking at pictures today I came across this one of Ashley. I just love this picture. I can't believe how fast she's growing up. Soon she'll be turning 9 and going into the 4th grade. I took this picture after one of her activity days. They had a lesson on hair care and how to use curling irons and stuff. She had fun while Sister Ambrose used her as a model and we (me) got some new ideas on how to style her hair. I must say Ashley does a pretty good job doing her own hair (when I let her).....
