Last year after the race, I decided to show my girls how far 13.1 miles actually was. We left the Boise Town Square Mall and started driving the direction of home. It turns out we live almost exactly 13.1 miles from the mall. Big mistake! That stuck in the back of my mind and I chickened out this year and did the 5 mile with my mom. We had a great time! It was fun to run with my dad across the finish line and cheer him along. Way to go everyone! Who's in for next year?

What??? When did you decide to do this again? We really need to talk more! Kudos for doing the five mile. I would have just opted for the bus ride the entire way! By the way, what happened to you coming this way the end of March??
Way to go!! I don't think I could even run 1/4 mile right now, let alone 5 miles!

Count me completely out, I had MUCH more fun hanging out with your kids then I would have had running 5 miles. You are amazing.
