The day started with a family photo shoot taken by Jocelin Blohm. You can check out her website if you like: photographybyjocelin.com. Even though it was CHILLY outside, the kids and adults did great! We had a clam bake for dinner, it was fun to see my dad eat right off the table—much to his dismay. The Nintendo Wii was the entertainment for the evening. We had fun playing bowling and tennis. Ashley was an expert at this since she spent 2 days with the Berget/Brimhall family who got one for Christmas. Ashley has become quite fond of her new friend/cousin-in-law, Jessica. The girls were excited to stay up till midnight and celebrate the new year with the big kids (us).

How fun! The WII is definately addictive. Sometimes JD and I will go down and play tennis until midnight. Jacee got guitar hero for christmas and I do have to say that's my personal favorite. JD played with the girls all during christmas break, so he was getting pretty good. I sat down with him one night, and in about an hour I was spanking him pretty good. Always glorious to beat your hubby at something! However, I think playing the piano worked in my favor!
